A Zoom Room is a meeting room that uses Zoom video conferencing software and Zoom-compatible hardware. Zoom Rooms can range from small huddle spaces to large conference rooms, allowing video conferencing, audio conferencing and wireless screen sharing.

A Zoom Room can be used by people in the room on their own, remote users joining from another room, and individuals joining via their mobile phone or desktop. Zoom Phone users can also hand off calls from their mobile or desk phone into a Zoom Room, which is pretty nifty.
Your Zoom account must include the Zoom Room license add-on to set up a Zoom Room or a free 30-day trial license. You will also need Zoom compatible hardware.
Firstly, you will need a Mac, Windows PC or an all-in-one device to run the Zoom Rooms software and a tablet (iPad, Windows 10 or Android) that can run the Zoom Rooms app so that you can control everything.
You will also need a suitable camera, microphone and speakers; depending on the room size, these may be all-in-one devices (such as video bars) or separate items specified in specific locations within the room to achieve the necessary coverage.
Finally, you will need at least one display monitor, although double and triple-monitor displays are now commonplace. You can also use touchscreen monitors to improve the collaboration experience further.
To achieve the best performance, it is vital that you only use Zoom Certified Hardware, which includes all-in-one devices, cameras, microphones, speakerphones and controllers.
